ISTT Companies Join Global Dialogue at Sheikh Bahaei Festival: New Horizons for International Scientific and Technological Cooperation

At the 19th Sheikh Bahaei National Innovation Festival, a special panel titled “Horizons of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation (Ofoq)” was held on the opening morning, introducing the latest Iranian technological achievements to international guests.

The panel aimed to expand global interactions and open new gateways to international markets for Iranian knowledge-based companies. It featured active participation from representatives of United Nations-affiliated organizations in Tehran, delegates from the BRICS Science and Technology sector in China, and a major Chinese company specializing in educational technology. Their presence provided a unique opportunity for Iranian innovators to showcase products and capabilities while establishing direct connections with global organizations and markets.

One of the most significant outcomes of the panel was the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Beijing International Exchange Association (BIEA). Under this agreement, winners of the Sheikh Bahaei Festival, ISTT-based companies, and other Iranian enterprises will be eligible to participate in China’s Susang Entrepreneurship Festival and Competition. This milestone opens new doors for Iranian entrepreneurs to compete and gain visibility on an international stage.

Ten ISTT-based companies presented their capacities and technological solutions during the session, emphasizing the importance of international collaboration for market development and investment attraction. The discussions highlighted how Iranian innovators, relying on domestic expertise, are prepared to engage and compete globally.

The Ofoq panel demonstrated that the Sheikh Bahaei Festival is not only a national platform for innovation but also a bridge to international cooperation. By creating such opportunities, the festival plays a vital role in strengthening Iran’s innovation ecosystem and fostering global partnerships in science and technology.
